Accessibility statement
Built for WCAG 2.1 AA, audited continuously
Glpverdict commits to meeting Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA on every published page. Health information is a YMYL surface — assistive-tech users have the same right to a fully usable reading and comparison experience as anyone else.
- WCAG 2.1 Level AA — perceivable, operable, understandable, robust. Color contrast ≥ 4.5:1 for body text and ≥ 3:1 for large text and UI components.
- Section 508 (US) — federal accessibility law criteria, including keyboard accessibility, semantic landmarks, and screen-reader compatibility.
- EN 301 549 (EU) — the European Accessibility Act standard, applicable to EU-served traffic.
- ADA Title III — US public-accommodation standard. We treat the site as a "place of public accommodation" by analogy.
What we test
- Screen readers — VoiceOver (macOS / iOS), NVDA + Firefox, JAWS + Chrome, TalkBack (Android).
- Keyboard-only navigation — every interactive control reachable via Tab, with a visible focus ring (focus-visible).
- Reduced motion — the
prefers-reduced-motionmedia query disables non-essential animation. - High-contrast + 200% zoom — all content remains legible and usable at 200% browser zoom and under high-contrast OS modes.
- Forms — every input has a programmatic label, required fields have aria-required, errors surface via aria-live and aria-describedby.
Known issues
We maintain a public log of known accessibility issues with target fix dates. As of June 2026, our remediation backlog covers:
- CompareTray live-region announcements — fix in flight; region announces correctly on Chrome + Firefox; Safari/VoiceOver under investigation.
- Rating bar tier labels — sr-only labels recently added; we are auditing screen-reader read order on legacy Safari builds.
We do not ship new pages that fail axe-core's strict rule set. Regressions are tracked in the project's Playwright suite (tests/audit-coverage.spec.ts).

We acknowledge within two business days and publish a fix or a documented workaround within fifteen business days.
