What if I forget my injection day?

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember, as long as it is within 5 days of the scheduled day. After 5 days, skip it and take the next dose on your regular day. Never double-dose.

Can I inject in the same spot every week?

No — rotate sites. Same-spot injection over months causes lipohypertrophy (lumpy fat tissue) which can affect absorption. Aim for at least 2 inches between consecutive injection sites.

Most patients describe it as a pinch or minor sting. Cold pens hurt more — warming the pen for 15–30 minutes and letting the alcohol fully dry both reduce discomfort. The needles are very thin (32 gauge).
