Does your insurance cover Wegovy or Zepbound?

Answer 4 questions about your insurance, the drug you're looking at, and what you're using it for. We'll tell you what to expect, what the prior-authorization path looks like, and which provider handles your specific situation best.

Step 1 of 420%

Which state are you in?

Used to check state-Medicaid coverage and telehealth-provider licensing in your state.

How the estimate works

The verdict comes from an editorial coverage matrix built on three public sources:

  • CMS Medicare Part D formularies (2026) for Medicare coverage patterns.
  • KFF state Medicaid GLP-1 survey (2025) for the 12 states that cover GLP-1s for obesity vs. diabetes-only.
  • Reported PA approval rates from Ro, Hims, and Sequence public coverage data for commercial-employer plans.

The tool does not call your insurance company in real time. Only your plan's formulary search or a prior-authorization submission will confirm coverage. What we give you is the realistic class of outcome to expect, so you walk into the next step (PA submission, telehealth signup, or cash-pay shop) with the right context.
