Ingredients

  • 1 lb93% lean ground turkey
  • 1 cankidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (28 oz)crushed tomatoes
  • 1red bell pepper, diced
  • 1fennel bulb, diced (substitute for onion)
  • 2 tspchili powder
  • 1 tspcumin
  • to tastesalt, pepper, smoked paprika

Steps

    Brown turkey in a Dutch oven over medium heat; drain excess fat.

    Add fennel and bell pepper; cook 4 min until softened.

    Stir in beans, tomatoes, and spices.

    Simmer uncovered 25-30 min, stirring occasionally.

    Serve with Greek-yogurt dollop instead of sour cream.
